We at MATCHLESS White Dorpers would like to thank everyone for their tremendous support for our first ever, on-farm sale.  

We were obviously apprehensive in the lead-up, particularly about the likelihood of having to cancel due to floods, but the weather was kind and we were able to go ahead.

We were thrilled with the turnout, both on site and through AuctionsPlus and there was tremendous excitement as the sale got underway.   The sheep looked really good and buyers obviously realised the quality of the animals on offer.   In the end we averaged $1418 for the rams and $1058 for the ewes, which was absolutely wonderful.

We are tremendously grateful for the hard work done on the day by our partners, Moozie and Andrea van Niekerk of African White Dorpers as well as for the contribution from the Landmark team.  

Most importantly however, we would like to thank all who bid on the auction.   To those who were able to make a purchase, we hope that  you will be very  happy with the performance of the sheep you took home, and to those who were unsuccessful, please do get back to us and we will see if we have something 'in a back paddock' for you!
